Culminating Presentations for Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week!

On Wednesday, November 29th, students shared poems, skits, mini videos and songs created in their class during Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week.  The names of participants were put in a draw for some great prizes. Congratulations students!

Board to conduct public consultation on its Executive Compensation Program

As part of Ontario Regulation 304/16 – Executive Compensation Framework, the York Catholic District School Board is required to develop an Executive Compensation Program and conduct a 30-day public consultation on the proposed program.

Sad news

It is with a heavy heart that we share with our community that Mr. Hill, our Music Star instructor, passed away peacefully following a harrowing  battle with a long illness.  Mr. Hill brought the gift of orchestra music to our school for the past few years, and many of our students developed great talent under his guidance.  He will be greatly missed.

We Remember!

On Friday November 10 2017, students at St. Edward CES celebrated a Remembrance Day liturgy, led by the students in Ms. Floyd-Rennie, Mme Santeramo, Ms. Manna and Mme Yu’s classes.

Together as a community, we remember and honour the great sacrifice of many for peace and freedom.

At the Leadership Link Conference!

St. Edward students participated in the Leadership Link Conference on Wednesday November 8th 2017.  Students took part in inspiring workshops and had the opportunity to hear Jonah Babins speak on how they can focus on the things they are passionate about and use technology to help change our world for the better.
