The Case of the Old Lady of Gingerbread Lane

On Tuesday May 8th 2018, The St. Edward Drama Crew presented “The Case of the Old Lady of Gingerbread Lane” led by Mme Dimney and Ms. Abraham.  Our young actors brought to life some of our favourite fairy tales and nursery rhymes, with a twist.  Much laughter was shared and the actors’ talents shone through. A big congratulations to our grade 7 and 8 actors and to all the students who worked on the backdrops, accessories and costumes!

The play was dedicated to the memory of our beloved Mme Mendes-Coughlin, our former FSL teacher and Drama producer, who passed away in late October of last year.  We were happy to see Mr. Coughlin and one of their daughters, Sidney, present at the performance, and they were deeply touched.  Also present were our Superintendent, Ms. Sawicky, Father Dominic, our parish priest, and Jeremy, seminarian, as well as Nancy Davie, our Religious Education Consultant.

This was a performance to remember!
